Midlakes Aquatic Center
The Midlakes Aquatic Center offers opportunities for the community to swim all year long. Lap swimming and water aerobics are offered weekday mornings with Saturday swim lessons. The pool is closed on holidays and when school closes for a snow emergency. Birthday parties will not be offered at this time. Evening hours will be considered soon. Please contact Jack Hauber at (315) 548-6451 for registration information and other updates. All times and dates are subject to change. 

Family/Open/Lap Swim

  • 6-8 p.m., Friday. 

Morning Swim

  • 6-7:30 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Water Aerobics

  • 7:30-8:30 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

YMCA Swim Club Practice

  • 5:45-7:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Contact YMCA for details.
     

2025-2026 Swim Lessons 

$30 for Level 1 (30 min); $40 for Levels 2-5 (1 hour)

Fall Swim Lessons (Session I)

  • Register using the following ONLINE FORM or email registration by August 31 to Tom Mitchell at tmitchell@midlakes.org.
  • Include: Parent’s name, child’s name, parent’s email and phone number, along with lesson level and time (if Level 1).
  • Level 1 lessons are 30 minutes long, from 9-9:30 a.m. and 9:30-10 a.m. 
  • Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 have hour-long lessons, from 9-10 a.m.
  • Lesson dates are Sept. 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4 and 11. (Saturdays).

Winter Swim Lessons (Session II)

  • Email registration by December 19 to Jack Hauber at jhauber@midlakes.org
  • Include: Parent’s name, child’s name, parent's email and phone number, along with lesson level and time (if Level 1).
  • Level 1 lessons are 30 minutes long, from 9-9:30 a.m. and 9:30-10 a.m. 
  • Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 have hour-long lessons, from 9-10 a.m.
  • Lesson dates are Jan. 3, 10, 17, 31 and Feb. 7. All dates are subject to change.
    Note: No lessons scheduled for January 24

Fees
The fee for lap swim is $2 for students, $4 for senior citizens, $5 for adults or $8 for a family. A Plunge Pass of 20 visits is $75, or $65 for seniors. The fee for water aerobics is $5 per class. A water fitness pass (20 classes) costs $90, or $80 for seniors. 

Passes
A one-year community pass is $200. One-year student passes or one-year staff passes are $100. 

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

Children 12 and younger using the pool facility during evening programs must be accompanied by an adult. Children six and younger and new swimmers must be accompanied in the pool by an adult. No exceptions. The center's schedule is subject to change. The center is closed when the District is closed due to a snow emergency or other weather-related event.
